This update restores the complete example budget so new users can explore Opticents before entering personal information.

Local security and recovery

Opticents gained an optional local security layer without adding an online account or sending budget data away from the device.

  • Confirmation that the recovery code was saved

The organization and reporting update

This build expanded everyday control while preserving the same app package and update signing so existing beta data could migrate forward.

Clearer words, fewer assumptions

The next release will make it unmistakable that Opticents records and organizes activity—it does not move money, contact banks, or pay bills.

Planned wording changes

  • Rename “Make Payment” to “Mark as Paid”
  • Clarify that an auto-pay date is a tracking date, not a payment instruction
  • Review language that could imply Opticents sends, schedules, or transfers money
  • Clarify recorded balances so they are not mistaken for live bank balances
  • Add definitions for Safe to Spend, Monthly Money Remaining, Paid, Auto-pay, recorded balances, and other key terms
