Opticents Software License Agreement

This Software License Agreement applies to the Opticents application and related documentation (the “Software”). The Software is licensed, not sold, by 13Degrees LLC.

1. License grant

After lawful acquisition, 13Degrees LLC grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use one copy of the Software on devices you own or control, subject to applicable app-store terms and this agreement.

2. Restrictions

You may not copy the Software except for authorized backup purposes; distribute, rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or commercially host it; remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or proprietary notices; bypass licensing or security controls; or reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble it except where applicable law expressly permits.

3. Ownership

13Degrees LLC retains all right, title, and interest in the original Opticents software, design, brand, documentation, and related intellectual property. This license transfers no ownership interest. User-created financial records remain the user’s property.

4. Updates

Updates may add, modify, or remove features and may be required for compatibility, security, or store compliance. An update may be governed by updated terms presented with that release.

5. Termination

This license ends automatically if you materially violate it. Upon termination, you must stop using and delete the Software, subject to rights that applicable law does not allow 13Degrees LLC to restrict.

6. Disclaimers and liability

The warranty disclaimers and limitations in the Opticents Terms of Service are incorporated into this agreement. Mandatory rights that cannot legally be excluded remain in force.

Copyright and trademark notice

© 2026 13Degrees LLC. All rights reserved. Opticents, its icon, visual identity, and original interface materials are proprietary to 13Degrees LLC. Use of the Opticents name or branding does not grant permission to reproduce or imply endorsement.

Open-source notices

Opticents may include third-party open-source software. Those components are licensed under their own terms and are not relicensed as proprietary Opticents code.

Capacitor Core and Capacitor Android

Opticents Beta 0.3.4 uses Capacitor Core and Capacitor Android version 8 components from the Ionic team. Capacitor is distributed under the MIT License. Copyright and license terms remain with their respective authors and contributors.

Permission is granted under the MIT License to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the applicable software, subject to inclusion of the copyright and permission notice. The software is provided without warranty.

Android platform components

Android system and SDK components are provided under applicable Google and Android Open Source Project terms. Android is a trademark of Google LLC. 13Degrees LLC is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google LLC.
